objective:

The Graphic Designer develops original design concepts and produces print and digital collateral across sales and marketing campaigns, product launches and other company initiatives. This highly collaborative role assists in and sometimes leads branding, strategy and creative direction and takes full ownership of design projects as needed.

Strategic Marketing Manager

Duties:

 

  • Create and produce work across a wide variety of disciplines including brochures, sell sheets, print ads, catalogs, digital ads, web design, emails, blogs, social media, animations, etc.
  • Develop print/digital catalogs from concept through design, pre-press and production
  • Develop original design concepts for sales and marketing campaigns and sales enablement materials
  • Work cross departmentally with external teams to execute marketing requests and ensure completed projects fulfill requirements
  • Work closely with copy team to ensure concepts are properly conveyed through design and layout, reviewing and revising as necessary
  • Grow knowledge of HubSpot email design capabilities and make recommendations to visually enhance email marketing campaigns 
  • Lead photography for marketing collateral, social media, etc. by taking photos of products, people, etc. and building and maintaining a photo library
  • Recommend effective design solutions for new products and develop branding and prototypes 
  • Work within the company’s brand standards and partner to update/modify as branding evolves
  • Assist employees’ company-wide with creating presentation that adhere to the brand standards
  • Help to ensure successful visual representation of Booksource branding across various media
  • Provide support and back-up to the marketing team as needed, including email marketing design and deployment, marketing inventory management, task management in Jira, etc.

 

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design/related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in graphic design
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially designing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Expertise with design fundamentals (typography, composition, layout, color, etc.)
  • Strong photography and video editing skills preferred
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently as well as with collaboratively with others
  • Critical attention to detail with strong follow-up and follow-through
  • Pre-press/production experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with HubSpot is a plus

Note: This position is located in St. Louis, MO and requires a blend of in-office and remote working.
